best nvidia GPU for 1080p

I second the 1060 6GB suggestion. It does very well at 1080p. The 1070 and 1080 are better but the 1060 should already be able to get 60 FPS in just about any game with Ultra settings or a mix of Ultra and High.

If you bought a 1070 it would be able to continue maxing out games longer than a 1060 but I don't think it's necessary for 1080p 60 FPS gaming.

if the rest of your pc is good enough



gtx 1070 if you want (mostly) max settings
