question about pre built motherboard

I want to build a half scrap half new build (because im poor) so i have a old i5 2500 and this pc has a pre built custom motherboard ( Hewlett-Packard 1497 ) i wanted to know if i could use this in a regular case with a regular PSU if not ill just buy a mother board with the 1155 socket

It's not custom, it's just btx which is rarely used. You won't find much cases to use it in and would suggest you just stick with what you have. As for psu, it is a proprietary connector. That pretty much means you need a new mobo but don't spend too much on old hardware.
