I am running three 1920x1200 @ 60hz monitors.
The build is a i7 6800k, 32gb ram, SSD, Asus strix 1080.

Mainly playing BF1. I was getting a solid 60fps with a 1070, it was really good but I just wanted more so I went with a 1080.

At max settings the 1080 is mostly around 70fps. The jump up didn't feel drastic at all but it was a bit smoother than the 1070.

Is this performance where it should be?

Solution
I would start clean then. Download DDU and to a hardcore uninstall of the drivers. Then reinstall using the latest drivers specifically for the GTX 1080.

I bet that would streamline the performance of your card and get you running in tip top shape!
No, that is very low.

Tripple monitor doesn't impact performance that much, it is really just a stretched FOV versus additional rendering. a 1440p display is more demanding than a surround setup.

That said, even if we go with 1440p as a nice baseline estimate for your performance, you should be getting between 70 and 100 FPS. Realistically you should be getting even more than that.

It is possible that surround is now adding some latency. I know AMD eyefinity is usually more popular than Nvidia surround...

Did you update your drivers when you swapped cards?

It's actually pretty much where it should be. Let us know if you do magically get 100 fps, but I doubt it. tripple monitor isn't stretched, they do geometry adjustments.
