I am looking to get a pc with an i5-6600k and it comes with a Gigabyte GA-H170-Gaming 3 LGA 1151 ATX Intel Motherboard and a Thermaltake Intel CPU Cooler. Both I hope to upgrade them before I overclock. I am wondering how well will the i5-6600k do before I overclock it and will I have to make the upgrades my first priority before I start playing any straining games.
Will an i5-6600k be okay without overclocking

No, no need to OC but nice having a free CPU upgrade sitting there waiting for your need for faster
