So recently I switched from a Samsung evo 840, to an intel m.2 ssd6 series. I have windows 10 installed on it, all my programs installed, but I cant shut down or restart. my screen goes black, it acts like it restarts, or shuts down, it just never does. Case fans all stay spinning, and the lights are all on. Reformatted twice now, doesn't fix it.

Sounds like the system is unstable now. Most likely a BIOS setting the system is not happy with. This happens to me most often when an Overclock is unstable but the issue is the same. A bios setting is not letting the system to fully power down properly.
