Hi, I want to buy this cpu for gaming (Because having an intel pentium cpu is terrible for GTA and others) and I want to know if it is compatible with all of my components? I know it is 1150 LGA just like my current processor.

My current CPU: http://a.co/5odWEWr

The CPU im looking at buying: http://a.co/1uXqsss

My current GPU: http://a.co/83OFez1

My current motherboard: http://a.co/gv8VC1H

My current RAM: http://a.co/7mECDEk

My current HDD: http://a.co/14DOUxv

And will everything work fine with my power supply so I don't go over my watts? I believe I have the 600W.

Power supply: http://a.co/eh4HORu

Thanks for the feedback!

Yes, you very much need a CPU with more threads. Since even quad-threaded CPUs are bottlenecking games today, I'd say the i7 is a great choice.

Thank you. I am having major problems running GTA and Fallout 4. Sometimes, they will work fine and other times, I will have an FPS of about 6. From what I understand, my GPU is doing fine but my CPU is bottlenecking my GPU

So It would work with all of my components then? and it wouldn't be too much for my power supply?

It would work. I'm using an EVGA 500 B1 with an i7-4790K and a GTX 1060 6GB.
