high CPU usage while idle

You can run resource monitor (windows key + R and then write "resmon"), go to the CPU tab and there you can see with more detail which process is taking this big part of your cake.

The problem comes when the processes are dllhost.exe, svchost.exe or a windows s**t like that, cause is more difficult to find the real issue, sometimes is just downloading updates and stuff.

i looks like windows defender and malware bytes was using the most of the CPU but it stopped using resources right after I snapped this screen shot. Right now my CPU is sitting at 5-10% so I guess problem solved? I'm going to try out BF1 and see if it runs smoothly.

so I played BF1 and It was getting ~90 usage which helped my performance a fair bit.
