Hello all i would love to ask you all for sugguestions on my upgrade journey for my PC. Here are my specs.

Windows 10
Processor - AMD FX 8310 8core-processor 3.4Ghz.
Corsair H100I GTX cooler
motherboard - Asus M52BC_M32BC
8192MB of Ram
GPU - XFX Rx480 GTR 8GB
Monitor is a LG 27 inch 27UD68-W

**EDIT** actually my main concern is the CPU and motherboard since i upgraded my best buy PC and they both came with it.

You forgot to mention your budget and if you're interested in seeing how much you can stretch your legs, you're going to have to follow through this thread, post a followup with necessary details and hopefully suggestions should come your way.

If you're concerned with your processor alone, you're choice of upgrades are stifled and I doubt your motherboard can support higher TDP processor from AMD's AM3 last lineup. Oh and one more thing, are you talking about the M52BC or the M32BC?

On another note, I'd advise against changing prebuilt internals since the PSU will likly need a swap as well...in fact if you do the math, the cost of buying new parts to support a prebuilt often adds up to you...
