Should I go with Intel now or wait for AMD Zen

Solution
There are no official benchmarks available for ZEN as yet. IMHO I would wait until it is officially released and benchmarked by reviewers. You can save some more and will then be able to make a more informational decision. And if ZEN is not what is cracked up to be, you will have some extra cash from saving to spend a new build.

I assume you're referring to GR1M's response, I was thinking that with my birthday being in March I can get some extra money to spend. When do you think they'll both be released. How much do you think Kaby Lake will be?

Nah, i'm referring to you. :)
The longer you wait the better, Kaby lake will replace Skylake, so expect to see initially high prices on release before they slowly replace the current gen CPUs.
By March/April it should bee stabilised, and you should be able to get a 1080 with a budget of 1k due to the price drop that will occur after the release of the RX 490 and 1080ti.

Oh how kind? :p
Yeah, I figured they'd be high priced but how long do you think it'll take for the prices to drop?
Oohh a 1080 :D and that's very true!
Appreciate the feedback as I want to get the best for my money!
