Unfortunately, @saravanan vs, it sounds like you are most probably dealing with a failed HDD. :( If that is the case, then there's nothing you can do to fix it. Hard drives are pretty sensitive and fail easily, if you have already tried different connections/cables & ports/ and also connected the HDD to another working system with the same result, you could be dealing with hardware-related issue on the HDD. This is something that could not be fixed without the specific technical knowledge and dust-free lab environment. If you want to upgrade your storage you are better off buying a new HDD instead of using this one. It is definitely not a safe location for your personal data as it could fail at any point. Welcome to Tom's Hardware, @saravanan vs!

Do you have any files that you want from that HDD? If it's shown as 'Not Initialized' and 'Unallocated', you need to Initialize the HDD first, and then Partition & Format it. Follow the step-by-step guides in the hyperlinks. If any error occurs during these processes, please share. Afterwards, it would be probably best to test the hard drive using its manufacturer's brand-specific diagnostic tool or a third-party alternative to determine the health and SMART status.

Keep me posted if you have more questions! :)

Hey there again, @saravanan vs!

It would be really helpful if you share all the ways you have tried to format the HDD. Are there any specific errors that you get? Unfortunately, if it's unable to get initialized & then partitioned & formatted, then the hard drive has most probably failed. :( That's why it's important to run a diagnostic tool and see if you will be able to scan the SMART attributes and the health state of the drive.

If any errors pop up during the process, I'd definitely recommend you consider contacting a professional data recovery company for assistance. (In case there are important files on it that you wish to recover) Otherwise, it's probably best to give up and replace that HDD with a new one as soon as possible.

Have you tried accessing the HDD from another working computer around you?

Please do that in order to determine the health and SMART status of that particular hard drive.

Keep me posted with any other questions or concerns.
