How can I add USB /CD ROM boot option to boot menu

Dell Inspiron 153521 is my device and I would like to dual boot it with Ubuntu but I failed to find any option for us /CD ROM booting in boot menu then how can I boot with new OS or how can I add those boot option to boot menu please help
