4GB high-density DDR2?

Does 4GB single sticks of DDR2 desktop memory exist? I'm having a lot of trouble finding 4GB sticks, most of it's 2gb x2. That's not a problem because I have 4 RAM slots in my Dell. Also, why is DDR2 STILL so expensive? I use Amazon.

Hi there,

They are expensive because most people still use their old core2duo PC's which can run win7 or up just fine.
Once they start changing to newer ones they become more available on the second hand market.

By the way, you don't need to order your mem on the same website of the brand of your PC, just Google the numbers on the RAM and order the same speed.
