I replaced my stock CPU cooler with a Xigmatek Janus cooler, it has two fans, one with 4 pins and another with 3 pins. I can only find the 4 pins one in my mobo, where do I plug the other one? Is there an adapter or something so that I can plug it like a cpu exhaust fan?

My motherboard is an Acer XC 605. Here's a pic:

There is most certainly another socket on your motherboard, do you have a case fan plugged into it?

You can get an adapter for fans, a fan cable splitter, as long as you find one that is split into 2 4 pin sockets, the 3 pin fan will still be able to be installed.

I can't find it. I've tried several times. I only used 1 fan for now and plug it in the CPU fan header, the one in brown top right of my board. My case fans are connected to the yellow and black wires in the pic (sorry not sure what they are called).

Guessing you mean the Molex Cables, which is fair enough.

If you cannot find it, then you can purchase something like this:

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=9SIAABJ4666313&cm_re=fan_splitter-_-12-162-026-_-Product

You can find them for really cheap and they work really well.

Ah yes, Molex connectors.

Thanks. I guess that's my only option. I've read somewhere that if you use a cable splitter you wont be able to control fan speed, is that true? Is there an adapter for my second fan so I can plug it into the Molex connector?

You will be able to if you purchase the correct connector, if you get a PWM Fan Splitter Cable, then you will be able to, you can also get a molex adapter cable if you wish, both of these will work the same in the longrun.

No worries, the one I linked should allow you to control the fan speeds, however if you wish to find another one then that should be fine, Newegg isn't the best for all countries, I just recommended that one as I know they have basically everything for a computer :p

Just search for a PWM Fan cable splitter, and as long as both of the output cables are 4 pins then you should be fine (And the input is 4 pin)
