I have a tight and stingy budget of $200 for my upgrade or build.
- I have an i5 2400
- 3 GB RAM
- 500 GB of ROM (which is riddled with all kinds of malware)
- 350 watt PSU (No company in the label)
no video card

I also value the look of the case, and motherboard.
I'm okay with playing with integrated graphics if I need to.
I'm okay going with AMD if I can squeeze some life to it.
I'm okay with Pentiums.
I also can't sell my computer.

My problems

I'm poor.
My motherboard is green.
The list.

I'm so sorry for anyone who've ever read this and just got annoyed by me.

Solution
Upgrade time! :)
Do you have 64 bit Windows?
You need it if you want more RAM.
Also format that HDD.
Here's what I recommend.

Estimable

Not seen a thread like this before :p

A lot of people are like this though, they just put it differently.

Depending on what your use for this computer is then these observations may change.

Your processor is perfectly fine for gaming, no major upgrade needed there.

You can always upgrade your RAM to 8GB, what type of RAM do you have? DDR3?

You can always purchase a graphics card such as the GTX 1050Ti (if this is for gaming) and that will allow you to get some good performance out of it.

You can probably purchase a new case for around $30 that looks aesthetically pleasing to you, I cannot really help you with that.

A new set of 2x4GB RAM along GTX 1050 will probably makes the biggest impact, assuming your 350 watts is atleast powerful enough to handle a GTX 1050. It's a very light yet reasonably power GPU so should work. Otherwise there is still enough budget within 200 dollars to add a new power supply.
