Is this R9 Fury worth it over the GTX 1060

So in my current pcpartpicker build, there is a gtx 1060 FTW 6gb. I was trying to shave off some money and I found out that there was an R9 Fury going for 30 dollars less than the 1060. I looked at user benchmark and found out that the R9 Fury was faster. Should I go for the fury or stay with the 1060 or perhaps an Rx 480? Temps do not really matter for me because it is hot where I live and I have to have the air conditioner on all day.

Urgh, debatable. In theory it has plenty more power, however in practice the GTX 1060 usually seems to beat it beside a couple of games where the R9 Fury does come out on top.

On the other hand, leaving out a few case fans and getting a cheaper yet equally good CPU cooler will allow you to afford a GTX 1070, the far superior of the two.

Performs roughly the same + More efficient + better driver support as It's newer.

No one should consider buying a GTX 900 series as the GTX 1000 series beat them in every way. Unless you can get them for like half the price or something.
