Hello everyone!

I would like to ask for help about my situation, I am completely hopeless!

I have been using a BenQ XL2411Z 144HZ ( Dual-Link DVI-D Cable)monitor along with a Samsung S27B550 (HDMI Cable ) for over a year without a problem. Using NVIDIA GTX780.

One day I connected a ps4 with HDMI to my BenQ and since that the monitor gets no signal past Windows Logo in DVI-I slot, and absolutely no signal in DVI-D slot using Dual-Link DVI-D Cable.
It used to randomly fix itself but a reboot, or GPU reset, powering monitor off/on broke it always. Now it only works in DVI-I port until windows logo or in safe mode, no random miracles.

The monitor works fine If it's connected by HDMI or D-SUB to GPU.

  • Things I have tried:
Reinstall GPU drivers multiple times with different versions. There is signal when driver is uninstalled and DVI-D Cable is in DVI-I Slot, no signal in DVI-D ofc.
    Reinstall Windows totally.
    Trying different PCI-E slots.
    Reseted BIOS, Monitor to defaults.
    Hard reset Monitor
    Hard reset PC.
    Clear CMOS Battery.
Connect through all ports to the monitor.( HDMI , DSUB, DVI-D ) All detected except DVI-D.
Boot with Base Video settings or Low Resolution boot mode.
I can't change resolution or refresh rates of-course, because the monitor is not detected at all in normal-mode.

And many other things, which I don't remember, without luck.None of them helps anymore, Monitor gives signal only at boot and in Safe-Mode.

One symptom I find weird is, in DVI-I Port I can see the boot menu and bios, but resolutions are completely Watch the language and are out of screen, no matter the monitor settings. But when screen fitted in bios it meant that the monitor will be detected in Windows too!

This is going on for a month now, today I started up my PC and I had the DVI-D signal to my monitor and it worked 100% with all refresh rates until I pressed the power button on the monitor and restart it, now I get no signal anymore from DVI-D again. Power button causing it to not recieve signal again kinda seems like a circuitry error to me.

tl;dr : I get signal with every single monitor input, except Digital DVI when graphic drivers are installed.

Any ideas? Ask anything and I will answer. Sorry if the post is hectic, It's such a strange issue that I don't know what I should write down as relevant info.

Also I don't have another PC or GPU at home to try them out if monitor works with them.

Update on this : At this very moment my DVI-I works with 144hz perfectly. I went away and i unplugged everything from my PC and turned off power in the room completely. I turned on pc after 2 hours only with the bad display + mouse/kb and it works.

I know once I will restart my pc or turn the monitor off, the signal will again break

UPDATE : I clicked on detect displays and it disconnected the monitor off my pc
