Hello everyone,

from past few days my pc is restarting for no reason i know, restarting means without any blue screen error or something like short power outage but i have UPS but still its keeps restarting at any moment.

Some events i know that makes pc restarts

1. randomly at any moment without any hints.
2. 100% Restarts as soon as games starts.
3. Sometime i use my pc for 6-8 hrs without any restart but if i start game then it will restart for sure.

SPEC:
Processor - i5-4460
Motherboard - Gigabyte H97-D3H
Graphic Card - Gigabyte GTX 750Ti 2 GB
Power Supply - VS450 Corsair
Ram - 8 GB Corsair Vengeance MHz

Its about 11 months old.

I have doubts on my PSU because whenever powercuts my pc restart even if its connected with brand new UPS. is there any way to make sure that my GPU or PSU is restarting my pc.

Apparently not. Any way to check GPU ? if that maybe creating issue.

NOTE: My spec are compatible with PSU or i need to buy new PSU, but older one is in guarantee

Everything may be compatible with the psu but it may not be in tolerance with voltage levels under load.
Usually with GPUs, there is a blue screen or artifacts.
Its either RAM or PSU for sure.
Try the system with only stick of ram and use it like normal. If the system still crashes, swap ram sticks and then test again. if the system still crashes, then go ahead and RMA your power supply and that should fix it

You mean I should try removing GPU and use my pc if its restarts then go to RMA ?.

Only question in my mind comes is why only restarts when I start game why not at browsing ?

If its the power supply, starting a game will put load on the gpu which causes the voltage to drop. There is usually an allowance for a 5% tolerance with voltage so when a load hits the gpu which uses 12v, the voltage on the 12v rail should not drop below 11.4v. If it drops below that tolerance voltage, it causes system instability and random shutdowns.

Yes you were right. I bought a new local Circle 400 PSU and tried for 2 days and can play games without any issues.

Now I will go to RMA with that Corsair VS 450.

Thanks.
