Does my PSU is compatible with an MSI GTX 960 ? I've been trying to figure out whether if it's compatible or not but I don't seem to understand most of the PC parts as I don't regularly configure/upgrade my PC Specs . Help would be highly appreciated ! :)

The model of my PSU is
ATX-500WD .

I would pretty much say with 95% certainty that the power supply is not a model I would run a gaming card on. It should run a 960 based on the "500" number but cheap power supplies can be well under what their model numbers or even power stickers say is the wattage. Your "500 watt" PSU is likely 400 watts or less and is not made with stable components. Spend $40-50 on a lower end good model like the Corsair CX - M models which got decent reviews for the price.

Its a cheap, no-name power supply that doesn't even have a six pin PCI-E power connector. I wouldn't chance it even with an molex to PCI-E adapter. If you simply can't afford to replace it I wouldn't go with anything more power hungry than a GTX 1050 or 1050 Ti. Make sure to get one without a six pin connector so it gets all its power from the PCI-E slot.

Out of curiosity, what are the rest of your system specs like (CPU, RAM, motherboard)?
