Best CPU for Sapphire Radeon R9 Fury 4GB Tri-X OC Video Card to play BF1 at 1080p in ultra over 60fps? Low budget

Hello guys,

I just bought a Sapphire Radeon R9 Fury 4GB Tri-X OC Video card.
I want to play BF1 and other AAA games at 1080p, in ultra, > 60 pfs.

I want to find the best CPU to go with it. By "best" I mean that won't bottleneck the Graphic Card.

My first thought was a AMD FX-8370 as we can see here

77 fps minimum with a R9 Fury X.

Any Ideas ?

I'd go with the i5 6600K if you can.

Well for gaming, it seems like the 6600K is unmatched. Coming from someone who owns an FX-6300, AM3 leaves nothing in terms of upgradability. Z270 will still use 1151 if I remember correctly and Z170 will run the next CPU with a bios update.

You need at least a 6600k for this.

Games are becoming increasingly harder on the processor, and BF1 is extremely hard on it.

Battlefield 1 is a Game that challenges even I7's to work hard. You will atleast need a I5 6600k to achieve above 60 FPS in BF1. BF1 would push my I7 4790k up to 70% load at 4.2GHz on all 4 cores/ 8 threads.

Thank you for your answers.
I'll go for an i5-6600k as soon as its fucking price drops below 200 € (The price is currently 270€ in Euro Zone and 235 € minimum).

I hope the Zen trend will make prices plummet.
