You probably only need a 600w PSU, nothing higher.

120W For each of your CPUs and 150W for the 1060, add a bit extra for everything else and it comes to around 400W. So the extra headroom of 600W is a nice place to be at.

I will recommend a couple of PSUs depending on your budget:

Solution
Don't forget that you'll need to buy an add in audio card as this does not have it as well as maybe an expansion card with usb 3.0. Also a gtx 1060 will be bottlenecked by that system and you'll need to buy 2 coolers that are compatible with that motherboard (should have lga 775 holes). Also finding a case that will fit this might be kind of hard. Btw don't forget that these systems take about 3min to boot because it will always load the server stuff it has before it will start booting. Btw check if that board uses registered or unregistered ddr2 ECC. This is important to know for when you are buying ram.

That Board was EOL by Intel 7 years ago. Its very possible a GTX 1060 will not even work in the board due to its lack of a UEFI BIOS. Assuming it does work the PCIe 1.1 slots running at only x8 will bottleneck it, as well as the processors that have fairly low IPC due to their age.

IMO this is a waste of money.

Right but there is a solid chance that GPU will not work due to the age of the system. And even if it does it will be choked by it.

it did everything i needed it to do with the 650ti battlefield 4 no problem gta v no problem it was even playing battlefield 1 at 25 to 30 fps on low to mid settings (sometimes dipping down but not often) i will try it but if it doesn't work i will go to somthing else

Yes but the 650ti will work with a legacy bios. the GTX 1060 in some cases will not thats what I am telling you. Also the 1060 is significantly faster than the 650ti.

The reality is even a 650ti should play Battlefield 1 at over 30 fps, probably more like 50-60. Which tells me your CPUs are severely hampering it. So now you are going to get a faster GPU, that is going to still be dragged down by slow CPUs (and slow PCIe bus), You may get a higher FPS, but the games will run quite poorly and will likely stutter.

Yeah buying 10 year old server parts isn't going to help you. the number of cores do not matter, it all depends on the IPC of the CPU and its age. New CPUs with faster cores are going to be significantly faster than older ones even if those older ones have more cores. Also most games can't even utilize that second CPU in your board.

An i3-6100 and a cheap motherboard and 8gb of ram would absolutely demolish the setup you have with a GTX 1060.

If you haven't bought everything I would suggest selling it and coming back here with a new thread with your budget as we can recommend a setup that as I said will be significantly faster. Buying a GTX 1060 for this (or spending anything on it for that matter) is a waste of money.

Also please watch the language.
