Hey so im gonna build a gaming PC and it'll be

Proc Core i7 6700k Box Skylake (LGA 1151 4.0GHz up to 4.4GHz 8MB 4 Core)
Mainboard MSI Z170A Gaming M3
GPU ..
RAM Team Delta DDR4 8GB KIT 2400
HDD 1 TB Seagate
SSD 120GB
PSU Corsair VS 550W

The GPU will be either MSI GTX 1060 6GB OC or MSI RX 480 8GB Armor OC..
Im pretty confused with both, as i've seen reviews on youtube and people are saying 1060 performs better with DX11 and RX 480 with DX12, people also saying about most games on the future will use DX12, .. I'll be using this PC for quiet long time, not only for game but also blender, 3D max, flash, photoshop etc, and once i get it i won't change anything (maybe exception for RAM) so any help would be very appreciated. Thanks

Solution
OK so a few things...
6700k is a top of the line CPU, i'd like to see you pair it with other parts that are on par with it.

That Team delta ram is pretty rubbish, can you swing a Team Dark Pro set? CAS14/15 at 3000+ will give you much better RAM performance for your CPU.

That Powersupply might as well not even bear the name of Corsair, it is by far their worst powersupply and the chances of it giving you issues are very high. You'll find TONS of complaints and problems with the VS series. 550W is enough, but only if you get a really good high quality one.

I'd lean towards the RX 480, but both are decent, entry level cards. I'd really like to see you with something more like a GTX 1070 or GTX 1080 given your 6700k, but if it...

Solution
I disagree 100%.
The reason a lot of people like the GTX 1060 is because a lot of people just play CSGO and Overwatch, these highly optimized low demand games do great with a GTX 1060, as well as synthetic benchmarks.

But for Raw power in AAA games giving the closest to ultra settings as possible, i'd certainly want the 8GB of VRAM over <5% higher synthetic benchmarks!

Because you dont know.
About a 9% performance increase and the extra 2gb means 100% nothing.

If it means so little, why spend $30 extra for the GTX 1060? Might as well go with the cheaper one then, right? You linked synthetic tests that don't take into account the rest of the hardware. You can also see that the numbers are scewed by the 1060s numbers, it has way more than double the entries, because of its popularity among low end gamers, like CS:GO, LOL, DOTA, and Overwatch.

I would ditch that PSU you have selected for something else. If you absolutely desire a Corsair PSU, i would go with the RMx RMi, HXi or AXi series PSU's from Corsair. That VS series PSU from corsair is rated as a Tier 4 PSU Which does not recommened that PSU for a gaming rig.

I see, i'll change the RAM and PSU then, thanks for your advice and do you think is there any 'unsuitable' part? Is the RX 480 8GB really worth? Cause both price isn't much different.

Don't go with those PSU's! Both the VS and CX/CXM are Tier 4 PSU's and are of very poor quailty (little surge protection, thin gauge wiring). Don't skip on PSU budget when buying high quality parts! What good will those high quality parts be if your PSU dies and take those parts with it!

There's a link to the list. Go for Tier 1 or 2 PSU's.
