Using the xmp setting in my bios , it was keeping my memory at the 2666mhz (thats the default speed of my ram).

However when i turned xmp off and overclocked the ram my self , i managed to keep it at 3000mhz stable.

Shall I stick with the 3000mhz for the best performance out of my ram ?

Solution
Sure ;) DRAM quite often can OC well and be bring further improvements to performance. If problems can always downclock it. I tend to OC the DRAM in most all of my rigs
