Hey there guys,

So recently I installed a new SSD, RAM and a new GPU. The SSD and GPU had some issues but I ultimately got over them.

As for the RAM, however, I keep getting Blue Screens of Death (BSOD) usually with a memory related problem.

Here are my PC Specs:

CPU: i5 Quad Core 3570k @ 3.40 GHz
GPU: MSI GeForce GTX 970 GAMING ME100 (OC)
MoBo: GA-Z77-DS3H
RAM: Corsair Vengeance 16 GB (2x8GB) ddr3 2400 MHz
PSU: ULT-LSP650
Cooling: H60 Corsair Hydro Series

So, my MoBo does support ddr3 @ 2400 MHz with up to 32 GB of RAM. However, it was made known by one of my friends that my processor's memory is at 1600 MHz. When I first installed the RAM, in the BIOS is was clocked at 1333 MHz, the default, I activated the XPI (I think it's called) Profile and then it was clocked at 2500 MHz, since then my computer has been crashing and it seems as though it's memory related. I clocked my RAM back down to 1333 MHz hoping to fix the problem, but is this going to be a noticeable decrease in my RAM potential and performance?

Is there anyway I can clock my RAM to be at 1600 MHz with the processor?

Also I had 8 GB of 1333 MHz RAM before, if I have to keep my new RAM at 1333 MHz, will it still be an upgrade to my system, noticeably. Like will I be able to run multiple programs with increased performance?

Thanks in Advance!
