My Epson WF-3460 has been working fine for the past year and a half. I went to scan a document and Adobe was not detecting it. I turned off the printer via the power button and restarted it. It started the initial start-up cycle, but then suddenly shut off and restarted. It did this two or three times more before powering down completely. The viewscreen only ever showed the Epson logo, but never got to the home screen. I've tried unplugging it and restarting it a few times, but to no avail.
Any thoughts on what might be causing this and how to rectify it?
I have an Epson Printer WF-3640. Yesterday, 12/06/2016, it suddenly couldn't turn on. After I pressed the Power Button, it kept repeating the same action of Flashing-TurnOff-TurnOn routine. I contacted the Epson Support team by email. And today I got the response about the solution to this issue. After I followed up the suggestion below, the printer backs to work!
I noticed there are many people having the same issue as I had. Below is the instruction I got to solve the issue. Good luck to whoever having the same problem!
