I recently built up a new pc with a couple spare parts i had lying around. This included a hard drive with windows 10 on it. Before hand I removed all the drivers that would conflict with new hardware. The pc booted up just fine from where i left off on that hdd first try. The next day i go to use it and it gets stuck in a loop of showing the bios splash screen and restarting. I unplugged and replugged in everything in the system and it works just fine, i restarted the pc several times and it started up just fine. It happened again the next day, I un plugged everything one by one to figure out what helped. It was plugging the hard drive into a different sata port that made it work. I can restart the pc and it works fine, but the next day i have to plug the hdd into another sata port to make it work. This happens everyday and its getting annoying, if you might know whats up please tell me, i'm not that great with computers.

Windows 10
MSI 970A-G43
AMD FX-8350 Black Edition
radeon r9 fury
corsair rm1000x
Western Digital WD10EZEX

Welcome to the community, @Childs473!

I'm sorry to hear about you connectivity issues with your WD Blue HDD. You have done a great job with the troubleshooting so far, though. I suspect that the problem could be a failed SATA cable or a failed SATA port on your motherboard. I'd advise you to simply change the universal/standard SATA cable that is connecting the drive to the mobo and then see how the system will react to that. If the problem is still present, I'd advise you to backup your data from the WD Blue somewhere off-site and then make sure you got the latest SATA controller & Chipset drivers manually installed from your mobo manufacturer's official website. If you have access to another working PC, you could also try plugging the WD Blue there as a secondary drive and check how it will get detected by the other system.

Hope this helps you. Keep me posted!
