(If this is in the wrong category let me know, wasn't sure where to put this)
I had a PC put together about 4-5 years ago and seeing as I do some video editing and a lot of gaming on it, I can start to notice signs that it's approaching it's dying days and am looking at what to upgrade next.

Could somebody provide me with some advice/suggestions on what to upgrade next? I generally play games such as Arma 3 a lot, and like to do some video editing (GoPro/Drone stuff) in my spare time too. The computer is mostly used for these two purposes, gaming and video editing.

My build:
CPU: Intel i5-4570
MB: ASUS B85M-G
Graphics: GTX 770 2GB
RAM: 8GB DDR3-1600
HDD: WD Caviar Blur 1TB
SSD: Kingston 120GB
Case: Cooler Master Case 335
Power: Antec HCG 620w
OS: Windows 7

I don't really have a particular budget currently as it's just planning phase and ideas, and if it can be avoided I'd like to stick with Win7 and not upgrade to Win10.

Thank you in advance for any and all suggestions! Also is there anything wrong with my current build? Let me know!

if it was me (and im on tight budget) i'll upgrade:
GPU (gtx 1070) and SSD (500GB).

and if i still got some budget left:
CPU (i7-4790) and RAM (another 8GB).

those will breath another 2-3years life for the PC.

and gamers will eventually cave in to windows 10 (sad fact).

Yep this is the best bang for buck. A good SSD will make even a crappy computer feel significantly faster, and a newer GPU will give you the FPS for new games. After that a decent CPU/mobo combo is pretty cheap. With your video editing a new CPU would be a nice upgrade. Depends on your budget really.

That's what I was thinking too...I'm actually running out of space on my computer, so maybe I'll get a new SSD first and then save up for the 1070..

I play at 1920 x 1080, I assume upgrading from a 770 -> 1070 will make quite a bit difference huh?
