I've been thinking about getting a new graphics card but I've only got around 200 dollars to spend. What card would you recommend? I've been looking at a 960 with 4gb of vram but one of my friends recommended I get a 1060 even though it has 3gb of vram. Should I pick either of these or do any of you have any better options?

Basically the larger vram amount models will be needed for larger monitor resolutions (2K-4K) or three monitor 1080P use. what are your future Display plans/needs?

It is the best choice you have imo. You have the RX 480 too, but it dose not performe aswell inn dx11 games as the the 1060 dose, but it outperformes it a bit in dx12/vulcan games.
With the 1060 you have a little overclocking headroom, so it will outperforme it overall anyway if overclocked and there is no reason to not overclock.
