Dual core or quad core CPU to run Mass Effect: Andromeda?

Hi, I'm looking to get a new PC and I'm really aiming for ME: Andromeda as what I'm looking forward to running using it. I'm currently deciding on whether I should get an i3-6100 or an i5-6500, as I am only building a budget system and would like to save money. Now the system requirements haven't been released yet, but I'm looking at games like Dragon Age: Inquisition and Battlefield 1 as possibly similar points of comparison, both of which officially require a quad core though you can get away with a dual core. The marketing for this so far seems to tout 4K a lot, so this may be a bit intensive.

Keeping budget in mind, would I be fine getting an i3? Another possible consideration is that I will only be looking to get a GTX 1050 Ti as my GPU

sorry fro my bad english

The game supporting 4k doesn't mean you have to run it at 4k.

Also you won't really be able to run it at 4k with a 1050ti.

I3s aren't true dual cores because of hyperthreading, which allows them to work like a 4 core when necessary.
