ATI Radeon HD 5570 2GB

I have this card in friend PC, upgraded. Card have one DVI-I (dual link), one HDMI and one display port. When I put HDMI I have resolution 1920x1080p, when I put VGA on DVI I have max 1600x1200. Drivers are updated, Windows 10 Pro 64bit is on PC and he's updated. Driver booster for all other drivers.
How can I get full hd resolution with VGA-DVI on my monitor.

Yes, I said that I have full hd resolution when I put with HDMI cable in GPU and monitor. ASUS LED 27" VX279H IPS Full HD

But why are you trying to use VGA port then? HDMI is digital signal, it is better as it does not deteriorate like analog signal in VGA connection.

becouse that's my friend PC and he has no HDMI port on his monitor

So does his monitor support FullHD resolution? The card itself should have fast enough digital/analog converter to run at full HD at 60Hz.

Yes, he has with older GPU I think some ATI R7 , he has FULL HD resolution and when he change GPU and put VGA to DVI, he doesnt have anymore. MAX 1600x1200

Just to make sure: we are talking about DVI (on card)->VGA (on monitor) connection? Also, could you post exact models of both GPUs used and the monitor?
