Hello, I have a Toshiba Satellite C50-b-14h laptop and I want to upgrade my RAM, it has DDR3L, 2 GB, 800 Mhz RAM in now. I want to upgrade it to 4 or 8 GB (8 GB is the max supported) but I also want to buy ones that are faster aswell but I can't find anywhere what is the max speed this laptops motherboard supports, the only thing I see in CPUID is that the manufacturer of the motherboard is Toshiba and the model is ZBWAA, Crucial site recommends me 1600 and 1866 Mhz RAM but I don't know how reliable that is cause Im really confused by now, official Toshiba site says this laptop has 1333 Mhz RAM but I have 800 Mhz, don't know what information to trust.

yep that information seems fine with the few specs toshiba provides.

memory support for your laptop on crucial and they list 1600 and 1866 memory chips
but I also looked on Kingston and got only 1600 for F and G version (*they don't support h*) so that leads me to be suspecting the claim to 1866 chipset running at that speed on your laptop, more likely they are using a 1866 chipset that is backwards speed compatible, you feel better for having bought a faster chip rated at 1866 but in the end will run only at 1600mhz
