Price-to-performance the 470 only beats the 1060 3GB by 3% and because it RECENTLY dropped in price. For 3% less value, and like $35 more, you get a better card. Telling someone they are wasting your time because they don't want to buy the brand you suggest, a different brand than what they already have and use, and are looking at, and then getting pissy with them for not liking your answer is childish.

Well the 1050 is barely better than the 950. Almost negligibly so. The 1050 Ti is only about 15% better than both of them, at that price tag I say no its not really worth it. You'd be much better off saving up a little bit more and getting a 1060 3GB, as that is going to actually be an upgrade for you and is not that much more than a 1050 Ti.

950 and 1050 about the same, so you'd be spending $100 for the warranty (not worth it)
1050 Ti is barely better than both of them ($40 extra for 15% more performance ie. not worth it)
1060 3GB is about $200 but 100% faster than the 950 and 1050, and about 80% faster than the 1050 Ti, for about 40% more in cost. (Totally worth it)

Yeah 470 is an option also since the price drop, I always forget that one. In any case the 1050 Ti is not worth it. And the 1060 3Gb is still about 10% more powerful than the 470 for about $25-35 more. Still a better "value" if you ask me.

No, it is the right answer. You never said anything about brand preference in your first post. Might save people wasting their time if you did. Regardless of your preference the RX 470 4GB is the best value. As far as your hardware goes, of course it all will work together. Why wouldn't it?
