Why is this new gtx 1080 only £350?

Solution
It's a scam buddy, would look out for it, it's really popular on Amazon at the moment, shipping from China and they'll request the money directly not through Amazon. Normally.

This one says to email them, and they'll discuss payment, you send it them and you've lost your money. It's a scam.

Oh really? Jesus didn't realise Amazon would let this kind of thing slip through the net. Good spot guys! Where did you see the bit about sending them the money xFeaRDom?

@BringerOfTea sort of commented on it, they linked their email through different emojis and things. I have also heard a lot of rumours on how they do it, and I'm surprised too, Amazon is normally really secure and i've not seen this happen before.

Sneaky buggers! I did think it was too good to be true to be honest and i think being asked to email to discuss payment would be enough of a warning light for most people. Lets hope no one falls for it and they take it down!

still seems dody... 7 review and most of them seem made up only 1 seems legit and that is a 1/5....

Buy second hand electronics from people you trust or can meet in person and see the thing working. If not steer clear.

"Order was cancelled within minutes of placing. Seller never replied to cancel order. Amazon.UK, pretended to tell me order was already dispatched (within 3 minutes of sale, haha). I contacted Amazon, have proof or cancel order. Contacted seller, me and Amazon.UK. Seller ignored all email and shipped. Credit Card instructed to refuse charge. YOU WILL NOT GET PAID. Item will be donated to charity.

That's one review.

That's one expensive brick. Just as much as a ripoff as buying a house in London

Tom's really needs to make a post about this in some form, warning users of this scam going around now.

They normally tend to post threads on Tom's Guide on about Amazon and things, so unless I missed it, I hope they post about this, this has definitely started up due to the fact EVERYONE wants a 1070, 1080 etc, and because a lot of stocks are still short, then price deals would be even more tempting. Shame people fall for things like this.
