I have a EVGA Supernova 1000W P2 and today for the first time when I tried to turn the computer on it wouldn't start and I heard a noise i suspected to be the circuit breaker? of the roomI was in (when I went to the board I noticed it was off). I still haven't been able to turn the PC on yet.
How do can I test the PSU to see if it's working? I could try the paperclip test but all the cables are black so I don't know which one is which.
Thank you.

You will soon tell when you get the power back on. If the PSU has a dead short it will trip the circuit breaker again. If the PSU is the fault , don't take the chance, test it outside your system. Swap it out with a known working unit of the same wattage. The paper clip test would tell you if you have output but not what happens under load.
Do you not have a multi-meter.?

First of all, thank you for you answers and sorry for my ignorante in this matter.
Is the pin layout correct for this PSU?
I tried to turn on the computer shortly after but nothing happened.
I have a multi-miter.
Could you please elaborate what should I do and how should I do it ?
