In my PC class, we are creating paper builds (building a computer and advertising it). My teacher has assigned me to create a database server that has to have a display port monitor. I'm am clueless what it comes to database. I need help figuring out parts for the build. Also there's a budget. The most I can spend is $2,500. My teacher does ask to use the whole budget amount. PLEASE..HELP!!!

Databases want a lot of RAM, and fast storage. If they have to support a lot of simultaneous users then more CPU will help, but you probably want a quad core. It doesn't have to be top end. See if you can meet the display port requirement using motherboard graphics.
