hello guys. I have a core i3 6100 and a gtx 1060 3gb. I run titanfall 2 just fine never below 75 fps on everything high. I get a lot of lag and i dont know why. My download speed is 7.5 mbps and my upload is 0.8 mbps. My friend that plays the game aswell has a worse connection than mine but has no lag. I checked that i have enough ram and vram left and i do. 0.6 gb vram left and 2.5 gb ram left. MY cpu doesnt go up to 100% and im not bottleneckin in this game. Im litteraly in tears cuz i like this so much but the lag makes it unplayable. i noticed that when i get these lag hitches and stutters the ping goes up like to 300ms. Is this a ping issue. My friend downloads games while he is playing, has a 400ms ping and has no lag. When i turn the settings to the lowest possable is goes away for some reason. But when i run it on high i avergae about 75 to 90 fps. so why will turning it to low make a difference. I live in south africa btw. PLEASE HELP!!!!!

Do you by chance play on Wifi?
I think it's Internet connection related more than anything. You can try dropping graphical settings down to a minimum just to test, but I bet it won't do anything for you.

i just tested it again and the lag persists even on low settings so the problem is internet. Any tips on how to improve my internet though. Im wired, i ahve a 7.5 mbps download and im not downloading anything while im playing. This does not make sense. I can fell its lag though cuz lets say im reloading my weapon, the animation will be slow and then suddenly abnormaly fast. I play the campaign fine though constant 66fps vsync on (i overclocked my moniter)

Titanfall, at least the first one that I played extensively, was quite the bandwidth hog.
I now have faster Internet and don't notice the choke on other devices when playing Titanfall 2.
