And I've only just realised that I haven't bought an optical drive... Which I will need to install Windows etc right? Can someone send me a link to a good Optical drive that isn't too expensive ;/

This is my first time building so I'm a little confused, I have got Windows on a disk... Sitting in front of me and it says in the back "DVD Instructions" so what do I do ...

You can use that too, but that sounds like a retail version of Windows. Hopefully the key will work with your build. It may be possible to obtain a Windows 10 OEM key. Which verision of windows do you need. Microsoft allows you to download the Windows Media Creation Tool . As for the original questions, I really would recommend a USB DVD drive in case you want to add a radiator or something. Especially if you don't plan on using the DVD drive a lot. They are dirt cheap on Amazon ($10-15).

If you have the free upgrade to windows 10 then you need to download the media creation tool from Microsoft's website. You pick the USB drive in the directory and pick the version of windows etc. and it will do the rest. Once you get the pc you will have to boot from the USB by going into your BIOS and selecting it as the boot device and then install onto the boot device you want to use which would be the toshiba HDD. It's an extra step but a USB is a lot faster than a DVD. An important thing to remember is that you will skip the CD key part by selecting "I do not have a CD key" because Windows will verify itself when you connect to the internet and sign into your MS Account.

Edit: If this is not in depth enough then let me know and I will elaborate.

But I don't have the free upgrade? I literally bought the Windows 10 disk OEM That you see in my specs and I have the disk sitting in front of me and the key on the back of the slip that the disk is in...

Ah yes, apologies then. It's the same process except when you get to the CD Key screen, you would type the key in that you have. I also forgot to remind to use a 2.0 port if you're installing from a USB as 3.0 does not work.

That memory is a waste of money, because the motherboard will not run at speeds over 2133. With some tweaks, you can manage an SSD, for a little bit more.

Sorry about this, I'm so confused right now lol, so far I have put my CPU into the Motherboard with the stock cooler, and I have put the ram into the motherboard too, I am still waiting for my PSU to come tomorow, I have a Windows 10 disk I bought which has a key on the back, I only now just realised that I have not bought a DVD drive..., once I have everything in such as the PSU and the GPU I power it on and it will take me to the bios and ask me to install Windows first? Right? But if I can't put in the disk as I have no drive then what do I do? Sorry if this confuses you aah

ok, since you have it bought
use a different PC (the one you are using to post) to download the windows installer and put it on a cheap USB stick (3.5GB min, 4GB should be fine). Its free to download. when you have the new PC assembled, use the usb stick to install windows 10 on the new PC. when the install asks for your install code, use the one that came with the dvd.

I'm so retarded at this stuff lol, I'm sorry for all the questions... But where do I go to download the software onto my USB? And once I have all the componants in the case, do I turn my PC on as usual? And then what happens from there? As I would normally be prompted to put in the disk right?

Quick question, when I click that link and I scroll down to Windows 10, and then language; English, I click next and it takes me to an option to download, do I download it and open the launcher and then select an option to download to a USB and then install all the files onto the USB or do I drag that file that downloads, onto the USB?

Also once I put the USB into my PC and install Windows will it always have to boot from my USB or will the files download to my HDD?
