Hello,
I have recently purchased a new router, a Jensen 5000AC. I am having some issues, but I don’t know how to address them. I own a flat and I have a subscription on internet. The ISP provided a ZTE ZXHN F660, connected to the network via optic fiber, whose Wi-Fi range didn’t work for me. I have followed the instructions on properly connecting the cables, but my connection is still poor and my devices are randomly disconnecting from my router. Is there something else I have to set up in the main modem?
I have used the easy setup on my router which has quickly detected an internet connection incoming from the ZTE. The IP has been automatically set to dynamic and there are no interferences with other wireless networks. Furthermore, I have disabled the Wi-Fi on my ZTE, just to be sure there is no conflict. I have been experiencing those issues for 2 months already and I am tired of restarting things up, not to mention that my Jensen router will reset to factory when unplugged or restarted. (Is that even normal?)
I am looking forward to solving those issues and I apologize for any grammar mistakes, as I am not an Englishman myself.
