My mother and father had a small scuffle over text and my mother sent a text message expressing her anger to my father. A while later, my mother received the copy and pasted text of her angry text message from my father in quotations, leading my mother to believe that he tried showing it to someone he knew but instead accidentally sent it to my mother. Now my mother refuses to talk to him or I altogether. Being an IT student, my father asked me if I knew how to hack into a cellphone as my mother believed that I somehow had a hand in it, to which I replied that I did not, and could not in that instant even if I wanted to. My father sent no such text message to my mother and his phone shows no records of him sending anything. He isn't very tech savvy, so he blames a lot on the iPhone that he has in general. He believes that it somehow copy and pasted the text and sent it to my mom, yet there is no record of him sending anything to my mom. How then did my mother receive such a text, verbatim, in quotation marks?
My dad is convinced that this is some kind of glitch, and knowing my dad as an extremely upright man who does his best to keep the peace in the family, I cannot see him doing such a thing, that and he was completely clueless about the whole ordeal until my mom brought it up. I'm not trying to share my drama on this board, but this is causing some serious tension within the family right now and we are already going through a difficult transition because of some life happenings.
Can anyone tell me whether or not this was just a glitch? Are there any reports of this happening? Did this happen by design due to some oversight by my parents? I could really use some tips.
