Stuck T5 screws in harddrive?

I have a hard drive that died and I want to open it up.
I understand the risks and that I dont have an iso compliant clean room. But the drive is dead anyways, so it doesn't matter, I can't break it beyond broken.

My problem is that the Torx 5 screws on the top will not budge. I am stripping my T5 security torx screwdriver trying to remove these screws.

Does anyone know why these T5 screws won't come loose?

I urge you to first attempt repair or replacement of the circuit board because drives often die when a surge triggers a TVS diode and blows a fuse. The TVS often shorts and has to be removed.
