Is my SSD actually failing?

Yesterday I went to boot up my PC after work and found myself welcomed by ASUS' boot error screen, stating that my OS SSD has failed the S.M.A.R.T test and that I should backup and replace. Now that seems pretty straightforward and all, but I went into the advanced menu of the BIOS to check some settings and when I exited and restarted, my pc loaded up windows without any issue. I ran a quick error check from Disk Management on the drive in question and it came back with nothing, saying it's perfectly healthy. Is my drive actually failing and DM just can't tell? Or do I have a bigger issue?

I haven't noticed any real performance issues with the OS, if I have had an issue it was with a specific program and got it sorted out but nothing crazy. This drive is coming up on 3 years old in the next 4 months or so, so maybe it is just time for a replacement.

Solution
I would recommend you use the diagnostic offered by the SSD manufacturer. SMART data on SSDs isn't standardized as well as HDD. Trust the manufacturer's tools.

Didn't even think about that, downloaded the tool from Kingston and sure enough it says drive expected to fail soon. Thanks for the help, Im off to buy a new SSD.
