I am looking at two different laptops to buy. They both have somewhat similar specs. One of the laptops is a dell inspiron 15 7000 series 7559 with an intel core i7-6700hq, 8gb of ddr3l 1600mhz ram, a 1tb hybrid drive, nvidia geforce gtx 960m 4gb graphics, and a 1920x1080 15.6" full-hd wled screen. It costs $710. The other one is an msi prestige pe60 laptop with the same processor, 4gb of ddr4 ram, a 1tb hard drive, nvidia geforce gtx 960m 2gb graphics, and a 1920x1080 15.6" full-hd screen with msi true color technology for $535. I'm planning to game at 1080p at about 40-60 fps. I'm planning on playing diep.io, minecraft, geometry dash, need for speed: most wanted, and maybe fnaf, just to name a few. I'm not sure if I should get the laptop with the 2gb version or the 4gb version graphics. I'm not planning to game much, if at all, at 4k, but just moderate gaming at medium or high settings, maybe ultra, depending on the game. I don't know whether I should pick the cheaper one with the 2gb graphics, or save a little extra money for the other one. Which one would be better for gaming and overall performance? Thanks in advance.

both will pretty much perform the same UNTILL you use more than 4gb of ram and 2gb of Vram. once you pass this point the more expensive laptop will be MUCH better than the cheaper one. If you plan on having the laptop for a few years go with the more expensive one and it will be well worth the money.

If money is tight and you go with the cheaper one, i HIGHLY recommend installing another 4gb of ram.

Thanks. I forgot to say that I am going to add more ram and an ssd to the laptop. I'm only concerned about the graphics, since they are not replaceable (correct me if I'm wrong). And also, the cheaper one has usb type c, so it might be more future proof than the other one. I might consider the cheaper one since I don't have that much money to spend and it has usb-c. I just wanted to make sure which of the graphics is better. Thanks for the help. This is my first question on this site.

A laptops graphics cards are not replaceable in pretty much all laptops.
