Hi guys, i recently installed the Cooler master hyper 212 evo. And i get very good temperatures. But i have an extra fan, i know how to mount it but what way is it supposed to blow?? The stock fan that came with the heatsink blows at the heatsink. But what way is the other fan supposed to blow?? And where should i plug in the other fan? System fan?

Solution
The other fan would blow away from the heatsink, so it essentially makes a wind tunnel through the heatsink. It should be plugged into the CPU_OPT or CPU_FAN2 (or whaterver it may be named) header, so the processor would still have control over it.

That being said, a second fan really wont increase cooling performance much.

the same direction as your stock fan, well they are both meant to blow to the rear exhaust fan, the stock fan can push and the new fan pull make sure the air flow is like this ---->II---> (heatsink is II and air flow is --->)
