*I really don't know if I am currently looking to upgrade the right thing to fix my problem*

I am looking to upgrade my processor I just recently upgraded my graphics card to the gtx geforce1070. I play league of legends but my fps is still jumping when I get into game. My current processor intel core i3-4130 was over heating so I bought duster to clean it out but my computer is still not performing the way I would like it to. I am thinking now that I have to upgrade my processor but I want to buy the right one and know if I have to upgrade the BIOS. Or maybe i have to upgrade my power supply?

Under CC cleaner my specs say

Intel core i3-4130 CPU @ 3.40 GHZ
8.0GB RAM,
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1070

I am sorry if I am so oblivious but I really appreciate you guys helping me.

As long as you get a another Haswell based cpu you shouldn't have to worry about updating the BIOS. So any of the 4XXX cpu's for LGA-1550 should work in your system, I would get a high end i5 if you only game. Also it would be nice to know what you have for a motherboard.

Hey, what's your motherboard and power supply ? If you don't want to OC, then I would pick I5 4690, or I7 4790 if you would like better multi-tasking. If you're into OCing then I would get I5 4690K or I7 4790K. If you are only gaming I5 is all you need, but if you want to stream or do some heavy-multitasking, I7 is way to go.
