My friend and I built a PC 3 months ago. He had no problems at all, until 2 weeks ago. His PC started to reboot, Windows said somenthing went wrong. I built mine 2 and half months ago and I haven't had any problems whatsoever.

We tried change RAM sticks from a slot to another, because we thought it was the problem, it worked 2 days with no problems, no the PC turns un and when Skype opens it lag, the screen goes black, then it goes back and when he clicks something it goes black, the blue and the same problem we had at the begging.

We removed the GPU, cause we intalled it two weeks after we built it. It has worked with no problems at all, but mwe are scared to plug it back.

Is this a drivers issue?

I've had similar situation at my cousins place where if i would put skype on start with windows that is would start artifacting or distorting the screen beyond usability. Quickly closing skype before it starts fixed it for me. After reinstalling skype it worked for about 2 days but the problem reoccured, after some time of not using skype it fixed itself not sure if i got an update or not. See for yourself if you can replicate this.

We found out the GPU was the problem. When it wasn't on the system, everything was "smooth", but with it on the system again, the problem persisted, it all lagged and rebooted for no reason.
