Is my CPU cooler too cold?

I have an Intel i7 6700k and a H115i cooler (both 1 week old), when running tests my CPU gets to about 70 degrees (give or take) but my water coolers water temp is always around 30? Is this correct? Or should I look into this more or maybe re apply the thermal paste?

Side note: it's not the CPU temps I'm concerned about as such, it's just is the H115i temp supposed to be 30?

Thanks in advance!

70c isn't really high for intel cpu's, more like warm or the upper end of warm. Amd cpu's on the other hand tend to start throttling around 62-65c, the temps aren't comparable and are measured completely different. 30c at idle isn't too cold, 'too cold' isn't an issue unless actively cooling using something like liquid nitrogen with sub ambient temps. No air or water cooler can cool below ambient so there's no risk of running too cold.

With water cooling it takes awhile before the water heats up to the point where it levels off and gets to operating temperature where it should even itself out a bit more. Assuming of course that the software reading the coolant temp is accurate, not all programs are 100% perfect which is normal.

Probably give it a shot reapplying thermal paste and mount the CPU block again. If thatvdoesnt change anything then don't worry about it. Also the water is only too cold if it is under 4 degrees Celsius which is pretty much impossible unless you Bury your PC in snow

No need to re-apply your thermal paste if 70C max when under load.
Ideal temps are 15-20C above ambient room temperature at idle and 60-65C under load.
It is of-course depending on your OC however, temps should never exceed 80C.
Where do you get 30C from with your H115i. Is that from link.?

70° is kinda high, but normal if running heavy stress tests, I'm using the same cooler with an overclocked FX9590 and I only get 70° while using furmark cpuburner for an hour, otherwise it stays between 42-46 idle and 60 at full load (push-pull config, 1050 RPM)
always use good quality paste, try reapplying it, oh and your liquid temp is ok, don't worry about that, according to corsair link, mine is 40.5 right now, and there's a lot of heat coming out of the fans, which is good, it means the cooler is working properly
