Can you tell the difference between a Samsung 840 EVO and a Samsung 950 PRO M.2?

In real world use such as OS Boot time, Games, and such would a Samsung 950 PRO be viable faster in those things over a Samsung 840 EVO? Lets say my Motherboard fully supports the speed of the 950 PRO M.2, would i see a huge leap in speeds for OS and games?

Solution
If you're building new and the budget allows, a good M.2.
If you're already using a 840/850 EVO, probably not worth it to change., just for the "M.2" thing.

Also, be cognizant of the different values of M.2
M.2 SATA is the same speed as a regular SATA drive
M.2 NVMe is the fast one

Thanks man. I know the 950 PRO is wayyyyy better in every way than the 850 PRO is but im talking in real world tasks such as game loading times and OC Boot time and just OS Speed in general. If no huge speed boost will come with it i may be better off getting a Samsung 850 EVO 500GB ot a Samsung 850 PRO 256GB, both of which cost about the same. So if i were to get one of those which would be better? The 850 PRO which is faster i heard but cost more so id be stuck with the 256GB or the 850 EVO which is slower but i can get the 500GB version due to cheaper price.

I have the Samsung 850 EVO 500GB and very happy with it.
You would not notice any difference maybe 2secs in Fast Boot time settings in Bios.
Mine Boots to windows splash screen in 16secs.
Don't forget to have AHCI enabled and Samsung Magician will take care of the rest.
You may have slightly faster windows loading apps and games but no difference when playing them.
