Hello

So a few months back i built my first pc and everything has been working great until today when i was playing a game like usual, but then out of nowhere i heard the fans on the h100i v2 getting very loud. A few seconds after that the game i was playing crashed and a few seconds after that everything crashed and i got a blue screen with the fans going at full speed.
When i turned on the pc again after it was done with the blue screen it sent me to the American megatrends screen and gave me the error "CPU fan speed error detected".

I then went into the bios and saw that the cpu temp was at 85c and climbing.

I have tried a few things like setting the fans to 100%, turning off Q-Fan, setting cpu fan to DC mode, setting the CPU Fan Speed Low Limit to Ignore but still getting the "CPU fan speed error detected" and climbing temps in bios.

Could it be that the pump in the h100i v2 broke while i was playing?

The main specs for the pc is

Asus z170 pro gaming

I5 6600k

Corsair H100i v2

16GB ram

EVGA G2 850w

GTX 1070

Thx for any response

Your pump most likely went out in your AIO. If you have a stock heat sink laying around I'd suggest using that in the meantime. You'll have to remove your overclock though.
