My processor cores broke?

So recently I looked into my task manager and saw my Logical Processors went from 6 to 4. There were a few other things that had changed as well. Anyone know why this happened. If so, anyway to fix it? heres a screenshot to show you what I mean https://gyazo.com/0aae98cba626f11fe33cb3d64d4869e8

Check msconfig to ensure your max cores isn't set to 4.

Also, are you overclocking your CPU? If so, does reverting back to stock speeds affect the number of cores?

What make/model CPU does your BIOS recognize (usually on the summary page when you access your BIOS)?

I went to MSCONFIG and I can only select up to 4 cores. But the processor I have is a Hexa-Core. I should have 6. I don't overclock either, because I was always to scared that it would overheat my processor. Also, what do you mean about BIOS?

When you first power the system on, you usually see something like "Press F2 or DEL to enter system setup" or words to that effect. That allows you to access your BIOS.

I went into MSCONFIG and deselected "Number of Processors" and I have all 6 back now. Thank you SOOOOOO MUCH for your help. Is their any way I can give you a rating?
