I am using a fx 8350 cpu, gigabyte 970 g1 gaming motherboard, 600 w cooler master thunder psu, 1 tb seagate pipeline hd hdd and sapphire hd 6670 1 gb ddr5 gpu and a lg 18.5 inch led monitor, my problem is after using it for two to three hours my pc is automatically shutting down and can't again restart pc .... i have to wait for a long time to open my pc again and i thought it was my cpu fan not working properly so i changed it. previously my CPU core temperature was reaching up to 85° C so i changed it to cooler master hyper 212x and my CPU temperature is around (25 - 50)° C and is working fine but still the problem is there previously i had a major problem with my msi 970a-g46... please help what should i do?

Solution
Your PSU is well out of spec on all rail voltages. :( and must be within +/- 5%
A failing PSU can cause damage to other system hardware so you will have to Swap out the PSU with a known working unit of the same Wattage or higher.
If you can, get a Seasonic, EVGA, Corsair or Antec gold certified PSU of the same Wattage or 750W if you intend any OCing or expansion in the future.
Hi SoumyaHD :) Sorry to here your having issues.

You can conduct a series of stress tests to determine if any hardware components are the culprit.

Download HWMonitor and AIDA64 and put them on your desktop together.
In AIDA64, go to the Tools menu and select to run the stress test program. Here select to test the CPU and FPU first and run it for 10mins. Other sub system tests can be done separately. ALSO run the test on your RAM for 30mins separately.

Monitor your temps with HWMonitor and stop the test if temps reach 80C.
Take screen shots at the 10min mark and post the results here. I would like to see all rail voltages and 100% utilization during the test.

Hello MeanMachine41,
Thanks for answering but which edition should I download? There are many AIDA64 editions like engineer, extreme and files are in zip or exe format ? Please give me the free or trial download link of that software.
I downloaded HW monitor.
Thanks

As per your advise I am attaching the image for doing the needful .
Thanks and Regards

Insufficient information Soumya.
I need to see all rail voltages in HWMonitor during the test. This is to see if your PSU is doing its job correctly.
You temperatures during the test are OK but that is all there is. Now extend the test to include Cache and Memory.
Also test your disks and GPU separately.

The difference between Bronze and Gold is its ability to maintain efficiency when under load. Bronze certified units are for budget minded and general purpose computing. They are very often built with lower quality components and reflected in the length of Warranty. If you do not intend to OC your system or expand much in the future then the Seasonic S1211 is an excellent choice delivering 87% efficiency. The Antec True power is the best unit at 92% efficiency. Both have 5 years Warranty and build quality is excellent and either will suit your purpose..
