So I just bough an Asus g11cd- db73 with intel i7 6700 3.4(4.0 boost)
1 x 16 GB PC4-17000 2133 MHz DDR4 SDRAM
512 GB SSD.
Nvidia GTX 1080 Founders Card

But a 500 watt PSU is listed. I'm sure its sufficient because why would they ship it with undersized PSU but I'm just wondering if after warranty is up should I just upgrade the PSU. I also assume in the time the warranty is up that I may want to slightly OC as well. Most personal builds I;ve researched it seems that people go with a slightly better PSU with comparative system. Any thoughts??

I have it and have been running and nothing seems to be issue but I did have an Alienware 4 years ago and the PSU that came with that was underpowered

One of reasons I don't like ready made brand name computers. They always install components that are "Just good enough" to do the job.
Than there's a difference between same declared wattage PSUs. One could easily end up with a 750W PSU that has worse performance (power wise) than a good 500W PSU.
Personally, when building a PC I always ad 25 - 50% to PSU power than the setup would ask for. I don't think you'll be doing any meaningful OC with that machine. On the other hand, it should be good for few years to come without a need to OC.
